LatinBelly, created by Sarita in 2011, is a blend of her extensive training in Raqs Sharqi (under the instruction of Saba Alemayahu, Denise Mireau and Yasmina Ramzy) together with her training and immersion in the delicious and rich music and dances of Cuba and the Caribbean.
Sarita trained intensively with the Cuban dance company FUZION, based out of Santa Lucia, Camaguey, Cuba. She was also an apprentice dancer from 2007-2010 and a lead dancer from 2010-2014 with Arabesque Dance Company, directed by Yasmina Ramzy.
Sarita has a passion for dance, teaching, and fun and this passion is evident in her classes. Come out to LatinBelly class and dance, sweat & enjoy!

Performance Class
This class solely focuses on a latinbelly choreography that will lead to a performance. Registration in a technique class and previous latinbelly experience is required to join this class. Please contact us for further details.
Raqs Sabrosura
Explore the delicious combination of Raqs Sharqi movement repertoire with various Cuban/Caribeño music and dance.
This 90 minute class includes a solid conditioning warmup, technique breakdown & drills, and fun combinations to put it all together. Throughout class we will be combining our Raqs Sharqi repertoire together with Cuban/Caribeño music and dance forms including Cubaton/reggaeton, timba, merengue, mambo, pilón, bachata, and more!
